The preceding sections dealing with the different laws, regulations and codes of practice identify a number of responsibilities for operators of washrooms.

Below we summarise the implications of these requirements and show how Initial's services and expertise can help managers responsible for washrooms meet their obligations.

Experienced staff will undertake free surveys to assess location, user and operator needs and develop a cost effective individual plan for each washroom.

HANDCARE

There is a basic requirement to provide adequate hand washing facilities with soap and a means of hand drying. There is a need to provide sufficient facilities to cope with all users, including at peak times.

Initial has a choice of hand drying methods - not only the preferred cotton towel cabinet, but also paper and warm air - which means that a solution can be tailored to meet both the user's needs and the operator's requirements for cost and ease of operation.

The Initial handwashing system features a secure and easily serviced dispenser, with a choice of soaps which includes a bactericidal formulation.

TOILET TISSUE
Toilet Tissue dispensers or holders should be provided.

Initial has three toilet tissue systems all featuring secure and lockable dispensers with a choice of capacities to suit any size of location.
